In September 2019 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Masters Online | Part I: Property from the SØR Rusche Collection | Part II: Property from Various Owners, which included the work Portrait Of A Lady, Half-Length, Wearing Black With White Lace Collar And Cuffs by Wolfgang Heimbach. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 3,500.00 (€ 3,949.34), 40% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Wolfgang Heimbach have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Equestrian portrait of a gentleman, full-length, in armour, a baton in his right hand, a landscape with a cavalry skirmish beyond in July 2002 with an auction result of GBP 21,510.00 (€ 34,309.28).

Im September 2019 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Masters Online | Part I: Property from the SØR Rusche Collection | Part II: Property from Various Owners durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait Of A Lady, Half-Length, Wearing Black With White Lace Collar And Cuffs von Wolfgang Heimbach zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 3.500,00 (€ 3.949,34) und damit 40% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wolfgang Heimbach auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Equestrian portrait of a gentleman, full-length, in armour, a baton in his right hand, a landscape with a cavalry skirmish beyond im Juli 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 21.510,00 (€ 34.309,28).
