The price achieved of HKD 12,750.00 (€ 1,396.93) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 10,000.00 – 20,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Calligraphy Couplet in Running Script is the most expensive artwork by Wo Ren that we have observed at auctions so far.
