In March 2012 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Nineteen to Now, which included the work Still life by Wim Strijbosch. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 2,500.00 25% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Wim Strijbosch - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Dans un paysage, which sold at auction in March 2011 for EUR 6,875.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Im März 2012 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Nineteen to Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit Still life von Wim Strijbosch zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 2.500,00 und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Wim Strijbosch mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Dans un paysage beobachtet, die im März 2011 für EUR 6.875,00 versteigert wurde.
