This artwork by Wilson Bigaud achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts in November last year. In the Modern & Contemporary Art auction, the work Mariage à la campagne sold for USD 2,600.00 (€ 2,518.65) - well above the upper estimate of USD 1,200.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Wilson Bigaud; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot without title sold at auction in October last year with the realized price of USD 4,032.00 (€ 4,058.79).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Wilson Bigaud erzielte im November letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Mariage à la campagne für USD 2.600,00 (€ 2.518,65) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 1.200,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Wilson Bigaud; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Oktober letzten Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 4.032,00 (€ 4.058,79).
