Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work No. 60 by Willy Müller-Brittnau was sold in the The BAT Artventure Collection Formerly Known as the Peter Stuyvesant Collection, Part Two auction at Sothebys in Amsterdam in April 2011. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 1,625.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Willy Müller-Brittnau - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Tapas, 1998, which sold at auction in December 2011 for CHF 5,760.00 (€ 4,736.14).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit No. 60 von Willy Müller-Brittnau wurde im April 2011 in der Auktion The BAT Artventure Collection Formerly Known as the Peter Stuyvesant Collection, Part Two bei Sothebys in Amsterdam versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 1.625,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Willy Müller-Brittnau mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Tapas, 1998 beobachtet, die im Dezember 2011 für CHF 5.760,00 (€ 4.736,14) versteigert wurde.
