Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2019 Christies in New York held the auction Outsider and Vernacular Art, which included the work Untitled, 1986 by Willie Young. The price achieved of USD 2,750.00 (€ 2,400.91) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 4,000.00. Other works by Willie Young have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in January 2020 the work Untitled, 1986 was auctioned for USD 5,000.00 (€ 4,507.35).
