Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

It achieved a price of GBP 1,792.50 (€ 2,536.88), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by William Strang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Girl reading. The Storyteller in December 2016 with an auction result of GBP 32,500.00 (€ 37,997.77).
