Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Flight by William Strang was auctioned at Christies in London in February 2009. The price achieved of GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,046.68) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by William Strang have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Girl reading. The Storyteller in December 2016 with an auction result of GBP 32,500.00 (€ 37,997.77).
