Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In September 2013 Christies in London held the auction The Collection of Professor Sir Albert Richardson, P.R.A., which included the work Shipping off the Pigeon House, Dublin Bay by William Sadler. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,625.00 (€ 1,942.44). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by William Sadler achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Donnybrook Fair in November 2018 with an auction result of GBP 68,750.00 (€ 77,547.91).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im September 2013 führte Christies in London die Auktion The Collection of Professor Sir Albert Richardson, P.R.A. durch, in der auch die Arbeit Shipping off the Pigeon House, Dublin Bay von William Sadler zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.625,00 (€ 1.942,44) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von William Sadler erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Donnybrook Fair im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 68.750,00 (€ 77.547,91).
