In the British & Continental Pictures including Greek Art auction, the work A Summer'S Day At The Farm sold for GBP 6,000.00 (€ 8,829.41) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by William Page Atkinson Wells; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot The Lilac Sunbonnet sold at auction in October 2008 with the realized price of GBP 11,250.00 (€ 14,339.71).
