A top price for William Linnell - as previously expected
In June 2006 Christies in London held the auction Victorian & Traditionalist Pictures, which included the work Gathering The Flock by William Linnell. It changed hands for a price of GBP 5,760.00 (€ 8,334.62) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Gathering The Flock is the most expensive artwork by William Linnell that we have observed at auctions so far.

Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 5.760,00 (€ 8.334,62) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00.
