A top price for William James Neatby - as previously expected
The work Dolcibella by William James Neatby was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2016. The price achieved of GBP 4,750.00 (€ 5,644.03) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Dolcibella is the most expensive artwork by William James Neatby that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Dolcibella von William James Neatby kam im Juli 2016 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.750,00 (€ 5.644,03) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Dolcibella das teuerste Kunstwerk von William James Neatby, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
