In November 2013 Christies in London held the auction Maritime Art, which included the work The English Full-Rigger Patterhall Inward-Bound To Liverpool Off The South Stack Lighthouse by William Howard Yorke. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 2,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 2,750.00 (€ 3,309.26). Admittedly, works by William Howard Yorke have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The American clipper Caravan rendering assistance to a British full-rigger in mid-Atlantic in July 2003 with an auction result of USD 23,900.00 (€ 19,415.11).

Im November 2013 führte Christies in London die Auktion Maritime Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit The English Full-Rigger Patterhall Inward-Bound To Liverpool Off The South Stack Lighthouse von William Howard Yorke zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 2.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 2.750,00 (€ 3.309,26) einen neuen Besitzer.
