In September 2008 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings 'Including Indonesian Art'., which included the work A wild meadow by William Henry Singer. It changed hands for a price of EUR 4,750.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Other works by William Henry Singer have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2013 the work Morning Mist Near Olden, Norway was auctioned for EUR 8,125.00.
