Auction result well in line with expectations

However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by William Henry Hamilton Trood - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work 'Wait till the clouds roll by', which sold at auction in March 2021 for GBP 62,750.00 (€ 73,715.09).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 24.000,00 (€ 28.193,82) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden.
