Auction result fails to reach estimate
In May this year a collector was able to acquire the work A young woman reading by the window by William Hansen for DKK 1,900.00 (€ 255.02). This price was achieved in the auction Modern art and design at Bruun Rasmussen and was even lower than the DKK 3,000.00 estimate set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by William Hansen - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Evening scenery, which sold at auction in January 2024 for DKK 1,100.00 (€ 961.37).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Im Mai diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit A young woman reading by the window von William Hansen für DKK 1.900,00 (€ 255,02) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern art and design bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb des vom Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreises von DKK 3.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von William Hansen mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Evening scenery beobachtet, die im Januar 2024 für DKK 1.100,00 (€ 961,37) versteigert wurde.
