The price achieved of GBP 1,000.00 (€ 1,264.40) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Other works by William George Robb have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in September 2007 the work Fête champêtre was auctioned for GBP 1,500.00 (€ 2,150.89).
