Auction result well in line with expectations
In August 2021 Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction California Art, which included the work Poppy Field near Sacramento by William Franklin Jackson. The price achieved of USD 5,100.00 (€ 4,322.03) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by William Franklin Jackson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work California Landscape with Poppies and Lupine, which sold at auction in April this year for USD 16,575.00 (€ 15,013.59).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im August 2021 führte Bonhams in Los Angeles die Auktion California Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Poppy Field near Sacramento von William Franklin Jackson zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 5.100,00 (€ 4.322,03) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von William Franklin Jackson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit California Landscape with Poppies and Lupine beobachtet, die im April diesen Jahres für USD 16.575,00 (€ 15.013,59) versteigert wurde.
