The work Brolgas by William Boissevain was auctioned at Christies in Melbourne in November 2000. It achieved a price of AUD 3,760.00 (€ 2,275.72), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by William Boissevain - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work River Flats, which sold at auction in August 2005 for AUD 13,145.00 (€ 8,010.67).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von AUD 3.760,00 (€ 2.275,72) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50%. Für andere Arbeiten von William Boissevain mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit River Flats beobachtet, die im August 2005 für AUD 13.145,00 (€ 8.010,67) versteigert wurde.
