Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Willi Oltmanns could be acquired at Christies in Amsterdam in April 2007 for an unexpectedly low price. In the European Noble and Private Collections auction, the work A coastal landscape changed hands for EUR 12.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Willi Oltmanns achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Stilleben mit Früchten in June 2008 with an auction result of EUR 4,200.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Willi Oltmanns konnte im April 2007 bei Christies in Amsterdam für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion European Noble and Private Collections wechselte die Arbeit A coastal landscape für EUR 12,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 800,00 – 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Willi Oltmanns erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Stilleben mit Früchten im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 4.200,00.
