In October 2011 VAN HAM held the auction Dekorative Kunst, which included the work Wildschweine im Winter by Wilhelm Lorenz. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 581.00 45% above the estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wilhelm Lorenz achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Boars running through a winter forest in April 2011 with an auction result of GBP 6,000.00 (€ 6,757.03).
Schätzpreis um 45 % übertroffen
Im Oktober 2011 führte VAN HAM die Auktion Dekorative Kunst durch, in der auch die Arbeit Wildschweine im Winter von Wilhelm Lorenz zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 581,00 und damit 45% über dem Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wilhelm Lorenz erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Boars running through a winter forest im April 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 6.000,00 (€ 6.757,03).
