Admittedly, works by Willem Pieter Hoevenaar have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A young lady doing needlework in an interior in April 2002 with an auction result of EUR 9,560.00.

Die Arbeit A Woman Beside A Cradle von Willem Pieter Hoevenaar wurde im Dezember 2014 in der Auktion The I.Q. van Regteren Altena Collection Part II. Dutch and Flemish Drawings from 1500-1900 bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 2.000,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 33 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Willem Pieter Hoevenaar auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A young lady doing needlework in an interior im April 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 9.560,00.
