Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Composition by Wim Sinemus was sold in the Nineteen to Now, Art from the 19th, 20th and the 21st Centuries auction at Christies in Amsterdam in March 2011. The price achieved of EUR 1,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 800.00 – 1,200.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Wim Sinemus - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Compositie, which sold at auction in March 2011 for EUR 2,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Composition von Wim Sinemus wurde im März 2011 in der Auktion Nineteen to Now, Art from the 19th, 20th and the 21st Centuries bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Wim Sinemus mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Compositie beobachtet, die im März 2011 für EUR 2.500,00 versteigert wurde.
