Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Two young girls collecting flowers in a meadow, a farmyard beyond by Will Anderson was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2003. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 300.00 – 500.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 329.00 (€ 430.03) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Will Anderson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Kentish farm in November 2003 with an auction result of GBP 1,880.00 (€ 2,698.77).
