Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Deux Études De Chevaux De Profil by Wilhelm von Kobell was sold in the Old Master & 19th Century Art auction at Artcurial in Paris in September 2021. The price achieved of EUR 1,040.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wilhelm von Kobell achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work German riders Before The Tegernsee in December 2018 with an auction result of GBP 200,000.00 (€ 222,817.74).
