Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2008 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction 19th CenturyEuropean Art, which included the work Old friends by Wilhelm Löwith. The price achieved of EUR 2,500.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Other works by Wilhelm Löwith have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2004 the work Engrossed In A Book was auctioned for EUR 4,541.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2008 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion 19th CenturyEuropean Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Old friends von Wilhelm Löwith zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.500,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Wilhelm Löwith konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im April 2004 die Arbeit Engrossed In A Book für EUR 4.541,00 versteigert.
