Auction result misses estimated price range
In September this year a collector was able to acquire the work Beach view with a sailing ship by Wilhelm Hambüchen for DKK 2,100.00 (€ 281.55). This price was achieved in the auction Paintings, furniture and varia at Bruun Rasmussen and was even below the estimate range of DKK 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wilhelm Hambüchen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work After a day's catch on the beach of Katwijk in October 2007 with an auction result of EUR 9,850.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Beach view with a sailing ship von Wilhelm Hambüchen für DKK 2.100,00 (€ 281,55) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wilhelm Hambüchen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit After a day's catch on the beach of Katwijk im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 9.850,00.
