Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2015 Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Moderna, which included the work "Figuration" by Wilhelm Freddie. The price achieved of SEK 125,000.00 (€ 13,360.06) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as SEK 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Admittedly, works by Wilhelm Freddie have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work “Skandale i selskabslivet, Køkkenet”, 1966 in January 2024 with an auction result of DKK 85,000.00 (€ 74,287.71).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2015 führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Moderna durch, in der auch die Arbeit "Figuration" von Wilhelm Freddie zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von SEK 125.000,00 (€ 13.360,06) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit SEK 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wilhelm Freddie auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit “Skandale i selskabslivet, Køkkenet”, 1966 im Januar 2024 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 85.000,00 (€ 74.287,71).
