Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In August 2003 Christies in London held the auction British and Continental Pictures and Works on Paper, which included the work Stamford Church, Lincolnshire by Wilfrid Rene Wood. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 564.00 (€ 809.76). Other works by Wilfrid Rene Wood have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 1,062.50 (€ 1,321.03) in October 2012 for the work Kew Gardens.

Im August 2003 führte Christies in London die Auktion British and Continental Pictures and Works on Paper durch, in der auch die Arbeit Stamford Church, Lincolnshire von Wilfrid Rene Wood zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 564,00 (€ 809,76) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Wilfrid Rene Wood haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.062,50 (€ 1.321,03) im Oktober 2012 für die Arbeit Kew Gardens beobachtet.
