Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2021 VAN HAM in Cologne held the auction Sensual to Radical. A Survey of Figurative Art | ONLINE ONLY, which included the work "Testaccio". by Werner Gilles. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 900.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 1,032.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Werner Gilles achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Der Matrose in June this year with an auction result of EUR 15,120.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2021 führte VAN HAM in Köln die Auktion Sensual to Radical. A Survey of Figurative Art | ONLINE ONLY durch, in der auch die Arbeit "Testaccio". von Werner Gilles zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 900,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 1.032,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Werner Gilles erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Der Matrose im Juni diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 15.120,00.
