A top price for Wen Yuanshan - as previously expected
The work Mountains in the Mist by Wen Yuanshan was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2019. It changed hands for a price of HKD 68,750.00 (€ 7,973.73) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Mountains in the Mist is the most expensive artwork by Wen Yuanshan that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Mountains in the Mist von Wen Yuanshan kam im November 2019 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 68.750,00 (€ 7.973,73) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Mountains in the Mist das teuerste Kunstwerk von Wen Yuanshan, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
