Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2013 Christies in London held the auction Vintage Posters, which included the work American Airlines To New York by Weimer Pursell. The price achieved of GBP 1,750.00 (€ 2,046.02) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Other works by Weimer Pursell have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2012 the work American Airlines To New York was auctioned for GBP 3,000.00 (€ 3,695.70).

Im Mai 2013 führte Christies in London die Auktion Vintage Posters durch, in der auch die Arbeit American Airlines To New York von Weimer Pursell zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.750,00 (€ 2.046,02) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Weimer Pursell konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2012 die Arbeit American Airlines To New York für GBP 3.000,00 (€ 3.695,70) versteigert.
