Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Pilgrims of the Mesa by Warren Eliphalet Rollins was auctioned at Bonhams in Los Angeles in April last year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 3,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 3,825.00 (€ 3,630.07). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Warren Eliphalet Rollins - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Pueblo Indian, which sold at auction in October 2008 for USD 12,500.00 (€ 9,856.49).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Pilgrims of the Mesa von Warren Eliphalet Rollins kam im April letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Los Angeles zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 3.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 3.825,00 (€ 3.630,07) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Warren Eliphalet Rollins mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Pueblo Indian beobachtet, die im Oktober 2008 für USD 12.500,00 (€ 9.856,49) versteigert wurde.
