In October 2004 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction 20TH CENTURY CHINESE ART & ASIAN CONTEMPORARY ART, which included the work Night Scenery of Shen Town by Wang Yunhe. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 179,250.00 (€ 18,057.19), 63% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Wang Yunhe - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The series of Jiangnan cityscape No.3, which sold at auction in November 2005 for HKD 420,000.00 (€ 45,954.20).

Im Oktober 2004 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion 20TH CENTURY CHINESE ART & ASIAN CONTEMPORARY ART durch, in der auch die Arbeit Night Scenery of Shen Town von Wang Yunhe zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 179.250,00 (€ 18.057,19) und damit 63% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Wang Yunhe mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The series of Jiangnan cityscape No.3 beobachtet, die im November 2005 für HKD 420.000,00 (€ 45.954,20) versteigert wurde.
