The »bidding war« ended at HKD 107,550.00 (€ 10,834.32), 34% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Wang Yunhe have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The series of Jiangnan cityscape No.3 in November 2005 with an auction result of HKD 420,000.00 (€ 45,954.20).

Die Arbeit Abstraction von Wang Yunhe wurde im Oktober 2004 in der Auktion 20TH CENTURY CHINESE ART & ASIAN CONTEMPORARY ART bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 107.550,00 (€ 10.834,32) und damit 34% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wang Yunhe auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The series of Jiangnan cityscape No.3 im November 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 420.000,00 (€ 45.954,20).
