Auction result well in line with expectations
In October this year China Guardian held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Flowers by Wang Xuetao. It changed hands for a price of HKD 48,000.00 (€ 5,804.69) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Xuetao achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Flowers in May 2016 with an auction result of HKD 3,186,000.00 (€ 368,242.66).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte China Guardian die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Flowers von Wang Xuetao zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 48.000,00 (€ 5.804,69) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wang Xuetao erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Flowers im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.186.000,00 (€ 368.242,66).
