Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Eagle on the Tree by Wang Xuetao was sold in the Chinese Paintings-The Online sale auction at Bonhams in September this year. The price achieved of HKD 12,800.00 (€ 1,544.37) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 10,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Wang Xuetao achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Flowers in May 2016 with an auction result of HKD 3,186,000.00 (€ 368,242.66).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Eagle on the Tree von Wang Xuetao wurde im September diesen Jahres in der Auktion Chinese Paintings-The Online sale bei Bonhams versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 12.800,00 (€ 1.544,37) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 10.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Wang Xuetao erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Flowers im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.186.000,00 (€ 368.242,66).
