Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Flowers in a Vase / Parrots by Wang Qingfang was sold in the Dawn of Spring – Chinese Paintings Online auction at Christies in Hong Kong in February this year. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 20,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 20,160.00 (€ 2,422.55). Admittedly, works by Wang Qingfang have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Taoranting Park in Spring in April last year with an auction result of HKD 163,800.00 (€ 19,804.61).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Flowers in a Vase / Parrots von Wang Qingfang wurde im Februar diesen Jahres in der Auktion Dawn of Spring – Chinese Paintings Online bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 20.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 20.160,00 (€ 2.422,55) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wang Qingfang auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Taoranting Park in Spring im April letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 163.800,00 (€ 19.804,61).
