This artwork by Wang Luyan achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2013. In the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction, the work without title sold for HKD 187,500.00 (€ 18,594.09) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 80,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Wang Luyan; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot without title sold at auction in May 2013 with the realized price of HKD 325,000.00 (€ 32,229.75).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Wang Luyan erzielte im Mai 2013 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für HKD 187.500,00 (€ 18.594,09) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 80.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Wang Luyan; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2013 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 325.000,00 (€ 32.229,75).
