Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Seven-Character Poem In Running Script by Wang Kemin was sold in the Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in April 2015. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 10,000 - 20,000, the actual price achieved of HKD 11,500 (€ 1,329) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Wang Kemin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work in April 2010 with an auction result of HKD 56,250 (€ 5,447).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Seven-Character Poem In Running Script von Wang Kemin wurde im April 2015 in der Auktion Chinese Painting and Calligraphy from the Four Seas bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 10.000 – 20.000 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 11.500 (€ 1.329) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Wang Kemin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit im April 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 56.250 (€ 5.447).
