Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Walter Swennen was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in November last year. The price achieved of EUR 630.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 500.00 – 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Walter Swennen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Beer) (Untitled (Bear)) in November 2020 with an auction result of EUR 40,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Walter Swennen kam im November letzten Jahres bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 630,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 500,00 – 700,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Walter Swennen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Beer) (Untitled (Bear)) im November 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 40.000,00.
