Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Vojtěch Preissig could be acquired at Sothebys in London in November 2014 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Czech Avant-Garde Art from the Roy and Mary Cullen Collection auction, the work Czech Camel Rider (Jezdec Na Velbloudu) changed hands for GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,571.60) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. Other works by Vojtěch Preissig have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in June 2011 by the work Czech evening Bell (Večerníček) at GBP 2,750.00 (€ 3,042.36).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Vojtěch Preissig konnte im November 2014 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Czech Avant-Garde Art from the Roy and Mary Cullen Collection wechselte die Arbeit Czech Camel Rider (Jezdec Na Velbloudu) für GBP 1.250,00 (€ 1.571,60) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.500,00. Andere Arbeiten von Vojtěch Preissig wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Juni 2011 die Arbeit Czech evening Bell (Večerníček) mit GBP 2.750,00 (€ 3.042,36).
