Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2008 a collector was able to acquire the work Russian Playing The Accordian "Shire Baian Razverni Starshina", 1988 by Vladlen Gavrilchik for USD 12,500.00 (€ 8,029.29). This price was achieved in the auction Russian Art at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Vladlen Gavrilchik have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Tug of War in June 2021 with an auction result of GBP 37,800.00 (€ 44,046.83).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2008 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Russian Playing The Accordian "Shire Baian Razverni Starshina", 1988 von Vladlen Gavrilchik für USD 12.500,00 (€ 8.029,29) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Russian Art bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Vladlen Gavrilchik auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Tug of War im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 37.800,00 (€ 44.046,83).
