Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Valentina Matvienko by Vladislav Mamyshev-Monroe was sold in the Russian Pictures auction at Sothebys in London in November 2021. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,512.00 (€ 1,775.23) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Vladislav Mamyshev-Monroe have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Seven Photographs From The Any Passion Is Blind And Mad Series in June 2015 with an auction result of GBP 6,000.00 (€ 8,459.92).
