Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2010 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Star-crossed lovers by Vladimir Makeyev. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 400.00 – 600.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 437.50 (€ 526.04) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Vladimir Makeyev have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in January 2011 the work Lady and her fish was auctioned for GBP 750.00 (€ 841.71).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2010 führte Christies in London die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Star-crossed lovers von Vladimir Makeyev zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 400,00 – 600,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 437,50 (€ 526,04) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Vladimir Makeyev konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Januar 2011 die Arbeit Lady and her fish für GBP 750,00 (€ 841,71) versteigert.
