Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Kostroma by Vladimir Fedorovich Stozharov was auctioned at Sothebys in London in June 2018, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of GBP 25,000.00 – 35,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for GBP 20,000.00 (€ 22,603.41). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Vladimir Fedorovich Stozharov achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Passing Of The First Motorship in June 2014 with an auction result of GBP 410,500.00 (€ 512,900.11).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Kostroma von Vladimir Fedorovich Stozharov im Juni 2018 bei Sothebys in London versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für GBP 20.000,00 (€ 22.603,41) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Vladimir Fedorovich Stozharov erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Passing Of The First Motorship im Juni 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 410.500,00 (€ 512.900,11).
