A top price for Vladimir Bashlikov - as previously expected
In April 2008 Sothebys in New York held the auction Russian Art, which included the work Russian Female Figure, 1999 by Vladimir Bashlikov. The price achieved of USD 12,500.00 (€ 8,029.29) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Russian Female Figure, 1999 is the most expensive artwork by Vladimir Bashlikov that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im April 2008 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Russian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Russian Female Figure, 1999 von Vladimir Bashlikov zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 12.500,00 (€ 8.029,29) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Russian Female Figure, 1999 das teuerste Kunstwerk von Vladimir Bashlikov, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
