This work of art by Vladimir Maicovski could be acquired at Christies in New York in August last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Insider Art: Christie’s New York Staff Show auction, the work Sentinels I-IV changed hands for USD 630.00 (€ 625.93) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 800.00 – 1,000.00. Despite this disappointing result, Sentinels I-IV is the most expensive artwork by Vladimir Maicovski that we have observed at auction so far.
