Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2008 a collector was able to acquire the work Untitled (Art), 2007 by Vivek Vilasini for EUR 2,550.00. This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art 2 at Artcurial in Paris and was even below the estimate range of EUR 3,000.00 – 4,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Vivek Vilasini achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Last Supper) Edition 1 Of 5 in September 2008 with an auction result of USD 42,500.00 (€ 30,182.52).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2008 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Untitled (Art), 2007 von Vivek Vilasini für EUR 2.550,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art 2 bei Artcurial in Paris erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Vivek Vilasini erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Last Supper) Edition 1 Of 5 im September 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 42.500,00 (€ 30.182,52).
