Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Maternità by Vittorio Gussoni was auctioned at Il Ponte in June this year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 550.00 – 600.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Vittorio Gussoni achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Giovane Donna Con Vassoio Di Frutta in December 2008 with an auction result of EUR 10,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Maternità von Vittorio Gussoni im Juni diesen Jahres bei Il Ponte versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 550,00 – 600,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 500,00 den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Vittorio Gussoni erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Giovane Donna Con Vassoio Di Frutta im Dezember 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 10.000,00.
